Professor Young M. Chae received his MS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the North Carolina State University and Ph.D. in Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina. His research areas include knowledge management systems in healthcare and e-learning systems. He has published over one hundred ten peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and three books.
Professor Chae serves as an Honorary Professor of MNUMS and has served as the Dean of Graduate School of Public Health of the Yonsei University and Assistant Professor of the Clark University in the United States. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina.
Professor Chae serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Healthcare Informatics Review and the Associate Editor of the Central Asian Journal of Medical Sciences. He has also served as the President of Korean Society of Medical Informatics, President of Korean Health Informatics and Health Statistics, and President of Korean Intelligent Information Systems Society.
