Undarmaa Enkhbat earned her bachelor’s degree in Hygiene and Epidemiology from the Medical University of Ciego de Avila, Cuba in 2010. Upon graduation Undarmaa worked at the Public Health Institute of Mongolia as a researcher. She also worked as a health technical coordinator for Peace Corp, Mongolia. From 2013-2015, she completed an MSPH degree in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her master’s thesis is entitled “Lead (Pb) biomarkers in blood associated with measured airborne (PM2.5) lead exposures to women living in ger and women living in apartments, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia”. Currently, she is teaching courses on Toxicology, Environmental Health and Public Health Surveillance at the Department of Environmental Health, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.

Her research interests include biomarker of exposure and early biological effects associated with exposure to occupational and environmental agents.
