Dr. Gantuya graduated as a medical doctor from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences in 2001, and completed her master degree in medicine in 2004 at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, and obtained her Master of Public Health degree from Debrecen University in Hungary. Afterwards, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine degree at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences in 2015, and her doctoral research focused on environmental health, in particular the assessment of environmental impacts on human health.

Dr. Gantuya is employed as a lecturer at Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences since 2004. She is actively engaged in teaching bachelor and graduate students. Dr. Gantuya has researched the impacts of air pollution on mother and pediatric health as well as hospital acquired infection control and prevention issues.
